My first ‘proper’ YouTube video (featuring my face) was just published this second, Ableism so if you’re feeling really lovely please watch it and leave a comment! Hopefully it’s a really helpful resource to send to friends and family or even schools and universities to bring awareness to the biggest form of discrimination that nobody ever talks about! Here’s a little piece of prose I wrote in honour of Autumn:
The world is constantly trying to show us how much beauty there is in saying goodbye.
Star corpses twinkle at us whilst we sleep.
Autumn leaves rot to be photographed, a glimpse at immortality.
Every evening, the sun sets in shades of ‘see you soon!’
Does the world show us… or in the midst of pain and farewell, do we discover the ability to not only search for beauty, but find it?
