Late Night Love Letter
Sweet Teas
Just a late night note from sleepy me. Hugs xoxo
Despite having a rough time with my mental health, and excruciating neck and back pain (thank God for Yoga with Adriene!) November has been filled with a lot of love and joy. I also recently finished a screenplay for a short film fund I'm applying for- watch this space- so send good thoughts for me will ya?
I watched the TV show severance, a dark thriller made less so by how realistic the themes and fears are- what if you could switch yourself off whilst you were at work? I love the concept and it's brilliant but certainly not for the faint-hearted! I always wonder with shows like this how much richer the story could be if disabled characters were included... not because we are trying to fit them in as tokenism but because we realise their stories are just as interesting and valuable!!!
The greatest joys this month has been rewatching Gilmore Girls with my mother, playing Catan with my brother and sister-in-love, and playing Sims4 Cottage Living. My childhood dream- Sims + Farming! I recently started rewatching Avatar the Last Airbender with my partner- AKA the best show ever- it's a pretty good time of existence for needing to spend time in bed, I must admit. Games, television, entertainment galore! I am trying my best to be Pollyanna, anyway...
