Celebrate my birthday with me!

Maria and Nashira are hosting a writing workshop on the theme of friendship on Sept 2 in honour of my birthday and I would love to see you there! Even if you don’t like writing, just come and hang out with us!

I have too many feelings about the Barbie movie to put into words properly… it communicated feelings that I know are universal amongst girls exceptionally well. I cried throughout it! If you haven’t seen it, I urge you to drop all preconceptions and just enjoy, and maybe learn something too. Maria hosted a Barbie themed workshop, and this is an excerpt from the poem I wrote in it:

I regret every time I acted casual about Taylor Swift,

I resent that stick fighting and loving pink can't coexist

I didn't know that you could be a kaleidoscope of things you liked,

I thought you had to choose.

But now that I am grown up, I want adult lelli-kelly shoes!

Never be ashamed to love something so much, never feel you should hide your enthusiasm.

This month has been riddled with hospital appointments; I am still struggling with mental health- but I am immensely grateful for the love that surrounds me, and I know it surrounds you too. If you are also in the thick of the dark clouds, know I am in it with you. You are never alone here.

📺 TV: Heartstopper 🍃🍂

Oh my goodness I am so obsessed. I rewatched both seasons as soon as I finished! Have since watched it at least 4 times. The soundtrack, the acting, the cinematography, the beauty of young love!!! It is such a comforting, hopeful show!

🍿 Movie: The Barbie Movie!

This movie is a must see masterpiece and I will not be taking any opposing views at this time <3
